Hear it in a real living room before you buy it.

Visit verified owners near you, see and hear their setup, and ask the questions a showroom can't answer.

Opening first in New York and Orlando.

How a visit works

  1. Find a room with the gear you're considering

Search by product, brand or neighborhood. See the whole system, the room it lives in, and what the owner thinks of it.

  2. Request a visit

Visitors and hosts verify their identity once. The host approves every request and picks the time.

  3. Bring your own music and movies

Hear and see it in a real space with real furniture, not a treated demo room.

  4. Buy where you like

Purchases go through authorized dealers, so you keep the warranty, support and installation you'd expect.

For owners who love showing off their system

Your address stays private

Visitors see your neighborhood. The exact location is shared only after you accept a visit.

Every visitor is verified

A government ID and selfie check before anyone can request a visit.

You decide who comes over

Accept, decline or pause hosting whenever you want. No minimums.

Earning is optional

Take a finder's fee when your room helps close a sale, or host purely for the love of it. Your choice is shown on your page either way.

A showroom in every neighborhood, and you only pay when one sells.

Built for dealers

Referred buyers purchase through you. Homeroom sends you customers who have already heard the product in a real home.

You set the finder's fee

Most sellers use 5%, and it never goes above 10%. It's due only on a completed sale.

No rent, stock or floor staff

Owners' rooms do the demo. You stay in charge of the sale, delivery and installation.

Brands welcome too

See where your products are installed, talk with owners, and support the dealers who sell them.

For everything you'd want to try at home first

Some things only make sense in a room like yours: how speakers fill a living room, how a projector looks with the lights on, how shades and lighting work together at dusk.

  • Hi-fi audio
  • Home theater
  • TVs and projectors
  • Lighting
  • Motorized shades
